I love sushi. I would eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner if I could.
Blue Fish House on Richmond Ave., between Greenbriar and Kirby is so darn good. This little boutique restaurant will knock your fins off. Ok, that was too far. But, seriously, you have not had the perfect tekka-don, tiger roll, california roll, sashimi, or whatever until you've eaten here. The cuts of meat are quite possibly the best. They are melt in your mouth, non-chewy, non-gritty perfection. And, if you order one of those fancy concoctions with a saucy topping, you will cry, just a little.
I love Blue Fish House not only because the food rocks, but because the atmosphere is so laid back. You'll see anything from a couple on their first date in their finest duds, to someone like me with sweats and flip-flops and hair in a bun (and sunglasses, of course). I do have to say, the seating is quite limited and the hours are kind of funky; even so, it is worth it. Try one of their House Specials and tell me you don't love it. I get the Mango/Tuna deal all the time. Also, they have this crab meat topped roll that will kick you up a notch in your dress size, but just eat a salad the next day and you're good to go.
They have a whole menu dedicated to the people who thumb their noses at uncooked food.
Go today and order up. Tell me how much you love it and thank me later with some presents.
