New addition to the family!!

Well, let it be known that on Tuesday, April 27th, 2010 at around 1:30am, Brandon Reed Simonton was born at Methodist Hospital.  Weighing in at 7lbs 12.6oz, he was/is a very solid and sturdy baby boy!!  Mommy and baby are doing fine and are at home now (of course, it's been over a month).

Big brother, Trevor, aka "fattycakes" is enjoying his new role in life.  I got to spend a few days taking care of him while the 'rents were in the hospital.  We had so much fun!  However, he couldn't wait to go to the hospital and see his new baby brother.

We realized that there would be some explaining to do when Trevor try to do his impression of the "Wiggles" and screamed "WAKE UP BRANDON, WAKE UP!!!!" upon first meeting.  He proceeded to poke Brandon in the eye with his pointer finger and then pat him (just a tad too hard) on the head.  Although it sounds like a bit of nightmare, it was adorable to see him interact with his little brother.
